In Stockholm, there is no post office building. Supermarket stores and gas stations house a post office inside if they have this logo sign.
When a parcel is delivered to you while you are away from home, a note is left in your letter box indicating the location of the post office where your parcel is kept. Visit this location with your ID card (or your passport if you haven't obtained your ID card yet) to receive the parcel.
If your signature is required, sign under "Kvittens" and print your name under "Namnförtydligande" in the note.
To send a letter, visit a supermarket or gas station and buy a stamp. Post the stamped envelope into a yellow postbox for outside Stockholm and a blue postbox for inside Stockholm.
To send a parcel, visit a supermarket or gas station that houses a post office. You can track your parcels at the Post Office website.
