Swedish terms used in menus

The list of Swedish words below is sampled from actual menus of popular restaurants and cafes in Stockholm including Pelikan, Allmänna Galleriet 925, Republik, Svart Kaffe, Steam, 1900, Pleasant, Landet, Göteborg, Glenn Miller Cafe, Du Chef, Il Cafe, KvarnenRestaurang Volt, Gamla Orangeriet, Tradition, and Restaurant J. The list is also sampled from today's lunch menu of Lantis (Stockholm University's school canteen) as representing a typical Swedish lunch. Since French dishes are popular in Stockholm, I include French food terms in case you're not familiar with them and misunderstand them as Swedish terms.

Swedish words often get together to look like one word. If you don't find exactly the same word as the one in the menu, try to look for the last part of the word (e.g. lammburgare means lamb burger; färskostfyllda means stuffed with fresh cheese).

Another difference between gravad lax and lenrimmad lax is that gravad lax uses a dry cure while lenrimmad uses a wet brine. Gravad draws more moisture from the fish, resulting in a firmer texture.

I can only think that 'silkrom' should be sikrom, which translated is Whitefish Roe.
